Doja Cat often wears attention-grabbing outfits. Last year, she dressed up as Karl Lagerfeld’s cat for the gala. But this year, she went even further. For the 2024 Met Gala, where the theme is “The Garden of Time,” Doja Cat left her hotel wearing only a white bath towel. But when she arrived at the Gala, she surprised everyone with a wet white dress and smudged makeup. The dress was tight and see-through, showing a lot of skin.
“I knew lots of people would wear flower outfits, so I picked the most popular flower, cotton. I chose a white T-shirt because it’s classic and meaningful. I didn’t want to look like everyone else; I like standing out.”
“And yes, I’m really wet,” she told ET. “I can’t tell you how I did it, but it’s all hair gel.”
“I’m performing tonight, so I’ll probably stay wet the whole time.”

Before going to the event, the singer who won a GRAMMY was seen leaving her hotel with Vetements designer Guram Gvasalia. She wore a white towel that reached just above her knees, and she also had a towel wrapped around her head.
To make her look even more interesting, the rapper “Paint The Town Red” had black mascara running down her face and onto her neck, where it met a diamond chain.
Fans are mad about this year’s outfits. They say lots of them don’t fit the theme or are just plain dull. We’ll have to wait and see how Doja Cat makes a bath towel fit with “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion,” but you can’t say she dresses boring.
